On a scale of 1 – 10 how grateful are you?
How regularly do you express gratitude for the things you have: relationships, wealth, job etc. You may look at your life and think there’s not much to be grateful for but it you look beyond yourself, you’ll find there’s a lot to be thankful for. Most times we don’t see reasons to be thankful because we are preoccupied with our issues but irrespective of how challenging your situation is remember that someone else somewhere will gladly trade places with you.

So here’s what I want you to do, everyday look for 3 things to be grateful for. And don’t just think about it, say it out loud (it may not be necessary to shout), but you get the point. You want your mind and senses to experience the feeling of satisfaction that comes from being grateful, you want it to be real and genuine. Doing this exercise daily will improve your outlook on life. You will be happier and less agitated. Life will become more meaningful and your challenges will feel lighter.
